Dexterity and Sanmina announce a partnership to expand Mech manufacturing in California
Dexterity, the leader in enterprise physical AI and robotics, today announced a strategic partnership with Sanmina Corporation (NASDAQ: SANM), a global leader in integrated manufacturing solutions. Through this partnership, Dexterity will leverage Sanmina’s global manufacturing footprint and deep technology expertise to accelerate the commercialization of its industry-leading AI technology.
This collaboration will significantly scale Dexterity’s ability to deliver superhumanoid Mechs to enterprise customers. During the initial production phase, Dexterity and Sanmina will establish manufacturing capacity to meet growing global demand across parcel, ground logistics, e-commerce, retail, and air cargo sectors.
The announcement of the partnership between Dexterity and Sanmina follows the announcement of Dexterity’s Mech - whose ability to navigate complex industrial sites and leverage two arms to lift more than 60 lbs per arm makes it the world’s first industrial superhumanoid.
Dexterity’s innovative approach combines proprietary robotics, artificial intelligence, and integrated software to deliver solutions tailored for complex industrial environments. By partnering with Sanmina, Dexterity leverages Sanmina’s deep expertise in new product introduction (NPI), global supply chain, world-class quality control, and manufacturing.
"This partnership exemplifies Dexterity’s strategy of innovating where it matters and collaborating with best-in-class partners for scale," said Samir Menon, Founder and CEO of Dexterity. "Sanmina’s proven expertise in manufacturing at scale enables us to focus on advancing our robotics and AI technologies.
